In Fall 2014 I began a blog focused on Scripture, nutrition and fitness known as LivEatSweat. One year later, I was led to facilitate a forty-five day online challenge with close to twenty women also seeking to transform their lives by incorporating Scripture, whole foods, and exercise. I hosted this challenge twice more in 2016. When 2017 rolled around, I was led to create an integrative and comprehensive curriculum; I taught in person the first time with a group of fifteen women, in January of 2018.
Over the course of past four-plus years, I have mentored over sixty women in a group coaching setting; first, in various locations in my hometown, and then in partnership with my local YMCA (2020 and 2021).
This year, 2022, I have become a Certified: Health Coach, Nutrition Consultant, Holistic Fitness Specialist and Mind-Body Integration Specialist; all of which have led to 1-on-1 coaching, supporting and encouraging individual clients.
Ok, but where do the art works and books come in?
In December of 2019 it was clear I would continue to mentor and coach at a capacity where finances was not a limiting factor for clients. Creating uniquely fashioned works of art and selling books I have been led to create, help me to provide services at a lower cost to my clients. PLUS - I love creating art and writing, and believe both are avenues for encouragement and healing.
